The MILLESIME Feast is back

Although conquering the palates of the San Miguel residents is not an easy task, year after year Millesime manages to seduce even the most indomitable and demanding gastronomic expert with its proposal that never ceases to excite our taste buds.

For the third consecutive year, this gastronomic proposal sponsored by GNP returns to our land to offer unique innovations in the art of cooking from the hand of award-winning food preparation artists.

Millesime san miguel

One weekend, a selection of 12 of the most outstanding Chefs at an international level, and several venues will be the protagonists of these high-level dinners. Among the selection of this incredible project, the following are worth mentioning:

The award-winning Spanish chef with a Michelin star, Begoña Rodrigo, will come to San Miguel to give us a lecture on Valencian cuisine and how she was able to prosper through her own teaching to become one of the most experienced chefs in the world and the enormous work she has done in the world of vegetables.

The talent of the young and promising Chef Alexis Ayala who at his young age has already opened two restaurants, Tacos Alexis and Pargot in Colonia Roma, both awarded with the Michelin “Bib Gourmand” prize, which refers to places that offer the best quality of food in proportion to the cost.

The culinary legend of Ensenada, Sabina Bandera, has delighted everyone for more than 4 decades with La Guerrerense seafood with street food recipes such as sea urchin with clams, and “Edy Power” which is fish ceviche with mango and habanero with snail slices. Even Anthony Bourdain himself declared that he considered La Guerrerense to be the best street food in the world.

The tribute to corn paid by Israel Montero and Karina Mejía can be enjoyed at Rosewood, the same venue that will be the setting for the daring dishes of Chef Pepe Salinas, who likes to experiment with the presentation of his food, and the results in terms of flavor profile are also surprising!

Hedonism and carnivorous passion are evident in the creations of Chef Juan Emilio Villaseñor, who invites you to a delicious barbecue paired with refreshing Modelo beers. And finally, you can't miss out on trying the menu that the charismatic Chef Vicente Torres of Moxi has prepared, in which he continues to demonstrate why he is known as the "inventor of flavors."

However, there is no need to talk about a good meal without having great mixology, and in this section, the creations of Mezcal Creyente, the wine tasting by Monte Xanic and Santo Tomás, and the impeccable work of the mixologists Fabiola Padilla from Bekeb and Jonathan Frausto from Bovine will stand out.

To close this note, we could not do so without mentioning the spectacular concept they have of “Noches de Altura” where the 4 kitchen prodigies Begoña Rodrigo, Ricardo Muñóz Zurita also known as “the anthropologist of Mexican cuisine”, Javier Plascencia who does not stop praising Baja California cuisine and the winner of the Michelin Star, Miguel Carretero will be in charge of a 6-course dinner in which they will be hosted by pairs at Hotel Casa 1810 Parque and Numu.

And well, after this long text we have no doubt that your appetite has been whet and so we hope to see you in Millesime from May 23 to 26 so that they can satisfy their hunger with the best delicacies.
