Renowned actor, businessman and philanthropist Aaron Diaz is no stranger to these words, as he has been a part of the history of San Miguel since his childhood. And even today he continues to be a proud representative of our multi-colored land.

From an early age, Díaz grew up in San Miguel, since his maternal grandparents of American origin were enchanted by our city in the 60's, so they decided to buy a home here and proceeded to move to the city. The same steps would be followed by Aaron's parents who also founded the restaurant "The Pegasus"one of the oldest in the city, having been founded in 1982.

At the gastronomic center, you will find a culinary offering that shines for its star dish, which is the delight of Los Chiles en Nogada with the special touch of seasoning from Aaron's mother, Robin Spencer, located at Calle de Corregidora #6, Centro neighborhood.

Growing up in a place full of art and two cultures present in his family (his mother is from the United States, his father is from Mexico) did not confuse Aaron but rather strengthened his thirst for knowledge and fueled his artistic vein.

After many years of acting and having formed a beautiful family made up of the actress Lola Ponce and her two young daughters, San Miguel continues to call Aaron who has not for a second passed up the opportunity to introduce the passion for his land to his offspring.

Proof of this is confirmed by the fact that he chose our impressive Atotonilco Sanctuary as the religious site for the baptism of his first-born Erin, the same place where our great hero of history, Ignacio María José de Allende y Unzaga, got married and where Mexican Independence demonstrations were held.

Simply looking at Aaron's social media proves his legitimate and sincere connection with San Miguel, highlighting a series of photographs where the performer's pride transcends the image at having been invited to be portrayed as the insurgent Allende.
