There are places that don't need to shout to get your attention, and Santé is one of them, inviting you to enter with just a whisper.
The new hidden space on the intermediate level of Three Marys, It's slowly becoming one of those open secrets of San Miguel.
From the moment you arrive, the low lights, the reddish tones, the reflections on the mirrored brass ceilings, and the handcrafted stars suspended above the place make you feel like you're in a mix between a Parisian cabaret and a nostalgic night from the eighties and nineties… but in San Miguel.

And that is appreciated.
Because Santé doesn't try to be a dive bar.
Nor does it intend to be a quiet bar.
It's more like that perfect middle ground for those who still love going out, singing, toasting, listening to live music and staying "just for a little while"... which ends up turning into the whole night.
The name says it all: Santé.
Which in French means "health," like when you raise a glass to toast. Cheers.
And that's precisely the energy of the place.

Here, live music takes center stage.
On Thursdays and Fridays, the stage is filled with live bands that blend classics in Spanish and English, while on Saturdays the energy rises even more with a larger musical format, designed for singing, toasting, and ending the night with friends. From songs we all grew up listening to to those hits that inevitably get everyone at the table singing along.
Plus, they have huge screens perfect for watching games, and now that the World Cup is coming up, it's definitely going to become one of those favorite spots to meet up.
Another detail I honestly loved: they are pet-friendly.
Yesterday Mango was happy at the opening, greeting people as if they were part of the staff.

And speaking of the staff… something that truly transforms the experience here is their attentiveness. The entire team has that rare and wonderful warmth that makes you wish the night would never end. It doesn't feel pretentious. It feels genuine.
I think that's the most interesting thing about Santé:
It manages to feel elegant without being uncomfortable, fun without being excessive, and nostalgic without looking old.
A place for those of us who still enjoy a good live song, a long conversation, asking for "one more" and going home with the feeling of having had a very good night.
