For this edition we present to you Yalex, a duo that is conquering everyone who listens to them. And if one day you have the opportunity to hear them live, we warn you that you won't be able to resist taking out your best cumbia steps.
Yalex is made up of Yala Torres and Alex, two young travelers who by chance met in San Miguel de Allende several years ago, connected by the same passion: music.
“One night I was playing in the streets of San Miguel and suddenly Alex appeared with his banjo and we connected, we hit it off musically”
Yala shared.
This musical project is characterized by simplicity and letting go, as both focus on enjoying music, working like two great friends and leaving aside the pressure of a rehearsal. Yalex is characterized by improvisation and spontaneity.
Alex loved performance and it gives the project a unique touch, as he used to practice juggling, which has helped him connect with the people who listen to him.
Attending a show by this great duo is an unforgettable experience, as it is impossible to stay seated while listening to gypsy jazz, manush, gypsy jazz and some cumbia; their music will make you do steps you didn't know you could do.
