Book of the Month: Find the How and Awaken Your Creativity

By Pamela Fink

“We are not a world power because we don’t want to be” is a common phrase used in mockery and memes when it comes to the inventiveness of Mexicans in making funny things, and is often the copy-in for some “funny” memes that denote our inventiveness in the face of adverse situations.

That same ideology is what the authors Camila Sanchez Bolaño and Arturo Saldivar Rosales They bring us their new book entitled “Look for How” which, as its name indicates, talks about finding a way to take that crazy idea that is in our mind until it becomes a tangible reality.

Although we usually have the mistaken idea that creativity is inexorably linked to the world of art, what this book with fun illustrations of Killer Quake It aims to demonstrate that creativity exists in everyone's life and to provide tools to develop it so that we, as its authors, can generate benefits from it.

Because a life filled with curiosity is a life filled with creativity, and without these elements, life is not worth living, and so this light book is an incredible first approach for all those who do not consider themselves creative by “nature.”

Known for being the founder of the beloved San Miguel bookstore “Una boutique de libros”, Camila has stood out in the local community for her great literary passion and for the reading recommendations that she continues to make month after month for LocalGuide.

For his part, Arturo is a producer and writer having worked on shows for Metallica and Madonna as well as being a creative advisor for Warner Bros Discovery and currently working as a producer for TED X CDMX among other projects.

The creative duo of these talents serves to awaken creative consciousness and how to know your own interior so that from that deep, intimate place your inspiration can emerge and consequently, your creativity through a series of exercises that the authors leave you as a little push before opening your wings to fly.

Taking the name from the eponymous podcast of CamilaIt is thanks to Penguin Random House Editorial that the book was able to come to light and that it has already been devoured by the eyes of avid readers who seek to stimulate that creative impetus that lies dormant in each one of us but that is inherent to our being.
