The old bartender slang for a glass was the term "ball," and since this drink is served in a tall glass, that's where the combination of words that would be called a highball came from.
For this occasion the Cocktail Enthusiast Erick Andrew shared with us by the hand of Atzintli Bar his own interpretation of the Highball with the main ingredient Mata de Monte, called an authentic “mezcal wine” or the traditional Salmiana agave distilled with low alcohol levels and both light and refreshing notes.

Another highlight of this drink is that it comes from the Atzintli bar, whose philosophy is to pay homage to Mexican spirits, specifically those from Guanajuato, thus highlighting the local ingredients of our region.
The combination of such an innovative venue and one of San Miguel's most prominent mixologists could only result in an incredible cocktail that we're sure you'll want to emulate from your home.
