As the only hotel in the city recognized by Small Luxury Hotels of the World, this luxurious property, with just six rooms, is the perfect spot to enjoy the exhilaration of San Miguel's Jardín Principal long enough to retreat to this hotel paradise.

From the very beginning, you realize you're in a special place thanks to the mystical welcome you receive upon entering through its revolving door, which emulates the curvature of the moon and the phases of the most beautiful of satellites, opening up a world of tranquil elegance.

Our tour never ceases to amaze us, as we immediately notice a dreamlike, geometric passageway that simulates the Chichimeca architectural style and invites contemplation and a photographic opportunity exploring the work of one of our most important surrealist artists, thus becoming the hotel's flagship site.

It's worth noting that its largest suite, appropriately named The Grande Dame, is designed to emulate a pied-a-terre, resulting in an exquisite space where you can have everything you need and more, adorning its crown with a sumptuous bathtub whose dome displays stars from the night sky.

The project, which can also be found in CDMX (2014), Tulum (2016) and recently Mazunte (2025), goes very well with the artistic style of San Miguel and its creamy and sometimes pinkish tones enhanced by the beautiful sunset that only occurs in our city.

After having previously enjoyed success in Mexico City, hotelier Yves Naman set out to find a property in that place called San Miguel and its cobblestone streets that had so captivated his heart, and the result was impressive.

Enjoying sunny days by the refreshing pool at La Valise and simply having moments of introspection are some of the most relaxing moments for guests, according to House Manager Luis García, who so kindly guided us through every corner of this grand project.

The magic and charm of La Valise will soon be available for dining occasions for people who are not necessarily guests, but for now, its sumptuous cuisine and fresh cocktails are reserved exclusively for those staying there.

It's worth noting that despite the differences between each room, they all have bathrooms that give the feeling of having a private spa without having to share it with anyone, thus enhancing the privacy and tranquility that are the hallmarks of Wellness.

The hotel, managed by the Namron Hospitality group and named after the French word for suitcases, was designed to emphasize the deepest and simplest meaning of travel.
