Natural Wine Festival in San Miguel

All kinds of cultural and entertainment activities are usually centralized in the capital until now. Saint Michael came to change this at least in the natural wine market.

The Fermente Festival's goal is to emphasize San Miguel as a leading producer of these wines that do not have chemical processing in their fermentation and clarification process, resulting in various wines with exquisite flavor profiles.

After a bit of research, the founders of the project discovered that San Miguel is one of the places where the most of this type of wine is produced in the country, and so they decided to create this festival, which is now in its second edition.

This year the star host will be “Cava Garambullo” who have already accustomed us to the best wines thanks to their surprising creations such as the OPORT1 label in which they combined different styles such as Madeira, Oporto, Solera and Mistela to create a wine balanced through the years.

With your entrance ticket you will be able to taste more than 60 Natural Wine Labels and fermented products such as kombuchas, ciders, honey water, sauerkraut and even chocolate.

The event will take place at Hotel La Capilla and will cost $400 pesos in pre-sale and $500 on the day of the event, which will include a Riedel glass for tasting as well as an ecobag for the event.

Apart from a couple of festivals with the same theme in CDMX, this is the only festival of its kind outside of the capital so we should support local producers and drink exquisite wines in the process.

Also organic wines (without chemical intervention in the planting of the grapes) and biodynamic wines (it has to be organic, natural, that is, without chemicals either in the grapes or the fermentation process, in addition to all its processes being more related to natural processes).

We received them with the wines opened to purchase here their tickets.
