We dare say that we all know the pole dancing; that sexy dance that is accompanied by a pole and that famous people like Shakira, Jennifer Aniston and Cindy Crawford, they practice to stay in shape. A discipline that has quickly expanded to be considered one of the most beneficial (and fun) sports for health and fitness.
In Mexico, there are more and more schools dedicated to teaching this technique to women of all ages and professions in order to leave behind the idea that pole dancing is exclusive to exotic dancers or ultra-thin women.
Bere Lugo, director of Strike a Pose, began 3 years ago in the city of Guadalajara with various teachers, now she continues training and taking pole coach courses in Querétaro with the world champion of master 50. Bere told us a little about this exercise that began as a 'forbidden' dance and has become an excellent activity to stay in shape and raise female self-esteem.

Benefits of Pole Dance
Burn calories: A 90-minute class can burn between 500 and 600 calories, which encourages sweating, the elimination of toxins and the maintenance of a healthy weight.
