When the fashion and design industry embraces social causes, great things happen. That's what Fashion Days Fashion + Cause Since 2016, it has been offering a platform that supports Latin American design with social responsibility. Created and directed by Blanca SalinasIn 2021, they are preparing for their fifth edition in which they will make San Miguel de Allende the mecca of fashion for 3 consecutive days.
Of the November 3-5Fashion Days will present multi-venue events not only in this “best city in the world” but also in Dolores Hidalgo, innovating again with its proposal to bring local and regional design projects to other corners of the state. In the words of the organizers: “Fashion is a phenomenon that moves the masses and we find in it a vehicle to creatively and peacefully transmit a message that raises awareness about social responsibility.”
The cause
Part of the proceeds from tickets and part of the designers' sales will be donated to one or more causes, such as CHRISM, Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center of San Miguel de Allende that cares for children who have some physical and/or brain damage or injury that affects their daily life. Pediatric rehabilitation is provided here and adults who suffer from illnesses and sequelae that cause temporary or permanent disability, caused by injury, cardiovascular events or chronic degenerative diseases are also cared for.

Wednesday, November 3: Private opening
This year, Fashion Days will open with an exclusive catwalk in the form of a traditional celebration of the city, which will take us to the majestic Rosewood Hotel where they will offer a cocktail as a private welcome party and a catwalk by Lydia Lavin.
Thursday, November 4th: Brunch and cocktail

Friday, November 5: Main esplanade of Dolores Hidalgo
Free access
The esplanade of the great parish, where the Father of the Nation, Miguel Hidalgo, gave the cry of independence, will welcome us to witness Mexican creativity. Open to the public, fashion as art and culture. Catwalks by Jesús de la Garza, Edher Gin, Lucio Moreno, Bernarda and Pineda Covalín.
