On the Cover with Emmanuel Ceballos, the Preserver of Moments
For someone dedicated to preserving unforgettable moments and freezing those points in an image, it is no surprise that his career and the evolution of his goals have followed a progressive sequence over time.
Such is the case of photographer Emmanuel Ceballos, who has traveled a creative path alongside Proyecto Bendita, in addition to having his own photography studio where he enjoys portraying all kinds of subjects, currently focusing more on couples.
And although he is now an expert, at the beginning Ceballos did not want to devote himself to the art of photography because he thought he was following in his father’s footsteps, who works in the same profession. For that reason, he decided to study graphic design, but by the twists of life he did not end up dedicating himself to that.
After a year of studying design, it was at the Escuela Activa de Fotografía de Querétaro that he discovered what would become his way of life. It was inside a darkroom, at the moment of developing, that something clicked in Emmanuel’s mind when he discovered that in that space both photography and design could be combined into one, and it was there that he decided that would be his life’s work.
And now, living in San Miguel , the photographer feels fortunate to have such interesting light, as well as such beautiful streets and fascinating architecture, which make his work much easier than it would be in a different city.
And this same passion has allowed him to venture into the world of weddings and couples, where he dedicates himself to observing couples in order to help them bring out their expressions and feelings and capture them in images that will convey the true emotions of those in love.
It was this skill that opened the doors for him to photograph a wonderful wedding at the Vatican, which posed a challenge because, traveling to the other side of the world, he had to be creative since he could not travel with all his equipment. But it was a challenge he knew how to solve positively, and the clients were delighted with the results.
But for Emmanuel, overcome challenges are things of the past, and now he seeks to continue making his way in San Miguel and the world through his wonderful lens.
