LUCAS RISE: Reinventing stories through painting

What do design, painting and muralism have in common? Everything, right? Lucas RiseThe potential to create from an idea, through concepts that lead to an exciting way of seeing and appreciating life, is what the Argentine artist has managed to master and transmit in each of his works, which can be digital as well as palpable in furniture and walls.

Trained as a designer and with 30 years of experience as a muralist around the world, Lucas has found in the streets of San Miguel de Allende the inspiration he needed to settle down and continue creating, expanding his microcosms of colorful patterns to the large walls of hotels and mansions in the city.

His extensive experience has given him the ability to teach in-person and online courses and workshops, such as the one that has been very well received in Domestic, where he teaches us how to decorate furniture to give it a modern and avant-garde style.

We recently had the opportunity to talk with Lucas and his friends to learn more about his life story and his work, as well as his impressions of San Miguel and what caught his attention about our small, great city.
