Puerto Escondido It was their first stop, but San Miguel de Allende welcomed them with open arms.

What does Gitana sound like?

With influences ranging from progressive rock to Tool and Pink Floyd to indie ballads, Carlos provides an eclectic musical foundation. But Flor's voice and the «looping» live performances are Gitana's hallmark.
"Our music doesn't stay in one place; it's always changing. We want to create moments that give you goosebumps.", explains Carlos. Their shows are a unique experience, where they reinvent songs like "I enjoy" of Carla Morrison, incorporating electronic beats and the power of Flor's voice.
"Every show is different; a song can sound a thousand different ways. People dance, laugh, get excited, and that's what drives us." Flor and Carlos tell.
Music changed the course of their lives. Flor, formerly a lawyer, found her true calling in singing. "I always loved singing, but I was embarrassed. Now I know that music is my place, my therapy, my medicine." confesses.

For Carlos, music was a constant presence since childhood, thanks to his guitarist father. Although he resisted playing for a time, fate led him to the strings, becoming the perfect musical partner for Flor. "Music was something secondary, but now it is an essential part of my life," says.
"Further Inside": A Tribute to Saint Michael
Mexico inspired Flor and Carlos to create their own music. And their next single, "Deeper", It's a tribute to San Miguel de Allende. The video was filmed on the city's streets, and to make it even more special, they interviewed its residents.
"San Miguel is full of incredible stories. We wanted to capture the essence of its people, those universes you discover when you get to know someone deeply." explain.
And Flor's connection with San Miguel is almost magical. Before visiting the city, she saw it in her dreams: colorful, cobblestone streets, music, and hard work alongside Carlos. When a couple from Puerto Escondido told them about San Miguel, Flor recognized the place as her dream.

"Carlos didn't hesitate: 'It's a sign, we have to go.'" remembers Flor.
