Pawis and Paco met at the Mexico City, where they formed the band Sweet Damage when they were barely teenagers. When they moved to San Miguel de Allende, continued their passion for music, creating the band Dry cellHowever, their desire to experiment with new sounds led them to form Atomic, a more free and improvised project.

“Atomic is a space to experiment and create new music,” says Paco. “We like to explore different sounds, especially electronic music.”

Atomic's inspiration is born in the corners of San Miguel de Allende, where the city itself becomes a muse. Their musical influences include bands like Jamiroquai and Depeche Mode, which have marked their unique style.

If you have the chance to hear Atomic live, get ready to dance and enjoy a unique musical experience. The band will present their first album with original songs in April.

Atomic is just one example of the vibrant music scene in San Miguel de Allende. At Local Soundtrack we will continue to explore and share the stories of the artists who make this city a place full of music and life. See you in the next edition!
