San Miguel It gives generously to everyone who comes from outside and seeks to contribute something positive to the City, so it is not surprising that these people want to return some of the blessings they have received from our community by betting on the most important thing we have: Young people and their future.

With a very low rate of young people completing their university studies and with exponential economic growth in the Bajío region, it doesn't take a genius to realize that without receiving an education, these young people will not be able to take advantage of the economic benefits that occur in their geographic location.

That is why “Young Forward”"It emerged as an association that seeks to support young people in completing their university studies through a financing process so that they can inspire their own communities and families, thus forming a snowball effect in which everyone progresses together.".

One success story was that of a young man from a tiny community whose dream was to study criminology and who, thanks to the foundation, achieved it and now works in the Prosecutor's Office fulfilling his greatest dream.

Thus, year after year, the foundation launches its call for applications for the 50 young people it will help that year, receiving hundreds and hundreds of applications from young people wanting to receive that financial aid that will allow them to have a bright future.

However, the selection process is difficult because it requires that the student have at least a 9 out of 10 average, in addition to a solid vision of his or her future, as well as that little spark that makes a person stand out so much in life.

Initially, they are asked to send the Selection Committee a video in which the student talks about themselves and their future aspirations, after which they are interviewed in person by Don and subsequently go on to interview with their families to be approved by the Committee.
