How PERFORMANCE and CONTEMPORARY ART are breathed in San Miguel

14 multidisciplinary artists from San Miguel come together in the first edition of this artistic event in which new ways of expressing the same human concerns of yesteryear will be captured in a visceral way using tools such as body movement and the use of current technologies for greater impact and sensorial permanence.

EL PERFORMANCE Y EL ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEOartistassan miguel

Ale Santos, Mixael Rudloff and Diego Aviles decided to unite their talents to present us with contemporary voices, twisting their tongues and locking their whispers to be spat out in powerful vociferations through the enormous power of art.

Forms of expression such as collage, surrealist photography, visceral watercolor, experimental music and performance will be interpreted this March 4th at the San Miguel de Allende Public Library in the exhibition entitled Safe Space, which will undoubtedly be a space where the different styles of the expressive range of San Miguel youth will be able to move freely.

We appreciate these types of spaces in which artists who go outside the norms of conventional art and academia have a safe space in which to experiment with new forms and reuse those from the past with which they identify, giving them new energy by expressing their authentic vision and reinterpreting everything we know where, more than a parody of itself, the expression becomes so surreal that it becomes part of our collective dream world.

For those who like the bluntly direct, so much so that it leaves you stunned with overstimulation but who also know how to appreciate the subtlety of reading between the lines, you will surely find in DRAIN a platform where to create community as well as a new way of expressing the living word and turning it into movement; sublimate it into something stronger than art
