In case you're not yet familiar with the concept, Barra México is the most important event for good drinks in Mexico and one of the 5 most prominent worldwide. Here, mixologists, brands, entrepreneurs and lovers of liquid culture meet to toast the bubbly world of mixology.
Based on a ranch that housed thoroughbred horses, its spirit still remains in the spirit of the magnificent Hacienda Los Picachos, which will increase our insatiable thirst for the most important fine drink in Latin America.
Among the outstanding speakers at a national level is Handshake Bar, who have just been proclaimed as the No. 2 bar in North America and the first place in Mexico according to 50 Best Bars, and it is no wonder; attending the small Speakeasy located in the heart of Col. Juárez is a multisensory experience.
Handshake drinks play with molecular mixology by creating signature drinks like the clear piña colada or its aesthetically pleasing “tiny drinks” where you can try an elegant miniature martini; this concept was created to give people the opportunity to try multiple drinks without having to spend too much money or get too drunk.
If you are curious about the interesting molecular cocktails of the aforementioned, you can attend Aperi at the Hotel Dos Casas on June 16 and 18 and taste their delicious drinks accompanied by the Takeover of Hexagon, one of the best restaurants in Canada.
Other interesting speakers would be what Adán Moreno does with @mixologystyle and his mobile bar agency that goes to wherever your event is, or Sustainable Guest Bartending by Ron Flor de Caña and mixologist Karen Álvarez.
As for fun branded happenings, we couldn't miss a good pool party sponsored by Fernet Branca or the sophisticated cigar pairing experience offered by Casa Dragones within its cigar bar at the Live Aqua Urban Resort.
And it is impossible to describe the level of virtuosity of this exquisite event in just a few lines. As if that were not enough, there will be a seminar by Bertha González Nava herself, who has the title of “Tequila Master”, thus becoming the first woman to obtain this certification so unfairly awarded mostly to the male spectrum of the population.
