We have people in Saint Michael and the world in which we do not fall for the charms of Cupid and his poisoned arrow that seems to want to incite us to consumerism of things that our partner absolutely does not need: melted chocolates, sweet wines, overpriced dinners and romantic experiences that are rather ridiculous.

For those Grinch in love, we have several fun alternatives that will put a stop to the hectic Valentine's Day and will probably make it a much better time. 

Sammy Social Room who promote themselves as the dealers of good times, proclaim that they officially Cupid Is Cancelled for its controversial matches, which is why its cancellation happening will be held this Saturday at 10 pm in collaboration with La Playita Beach Club and the Fuego & Agua gastronomic experience. 

Now for all the singles in San Miguel, it is simply unmissable Single Party which will be organized on February 15 with a dress code strictly in white contrasting the kitsch of red or pink where many single people will meet to enjoy this tasteful event in one of the most exclusive places in the city.

The experience includes a welcome cocktail, 5 signature cocktails and a pairing with a selection of exquisite canapés, all livened up by a DJ at the controls. 

Another event worth mentioning in retrospect was the Cupid's Rebels What happened a few hours ago where those who refuse to follow the romantic norm had a date at the restaurant Spice Market from the Live Aqua Hotel, whose cuisine specializes in a fusion of local ingredients from our region with the cuisine of Southeast Asia.

Something that also caught our attention was the daring bet of the Erotic Dinner of Hotel Matilda that never ceases to surprise us. On this occasion, aphrodisiac foods such as oysters by Chef Enid Vélez and the performance in the dark room curated by Oscar Manuel García Román set the playful tone to kick off a night that goes beyond the conventional expectations of February 14th.
