8M: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 15 women in San Miguel who inspire us every day

113 years after the first demonstrations in NYC, in which more than 15,000 women marched to demand fair working conditions and the right to vote, March 8, or 8M as it is currently abbreviated, represents the most important day for the voices of millions of women around the world who, not only today but all year long, make themselves heard in search of justice and equality.

In addition to being the ideal setting to talk about the collective and constant struggle to neutralize the patriarchal system that has oppressed women for millennia, on this day the IWD celebrates its advances and social, economic, cultural and political achievements, and this year it does so with the concept #ChooseToChallenge, a call to action that encourages raising awareness about all of this and inspiring future generations.

At Local SMA Guide we want to recognize the work and legacy of 15 women who, with their work and effort, have promoted culture and the economy at a local, regional and Mexican level. Thanks to them and to all those involved in their projects, thanks to all the women of San Miguel, Guanajuato and around the world for going out every day to give the best of themselves for their personal development and fulfillment and that of their families.
