Meeting for ART and LITERATURE lovers in San Miguel

Artistic talent often goes unnoticed unless you are a celebrity on social media, so it is vitally important to create platforms so that its reach reaches larger percentages of the population and in this way the artist's work can survive.

A mission that Red Global Creativa takes to heart and reaffirms its commitment to this cause by creating opportunities that will catapult the talent of artists in multiple fields with a meeting where the synergy and the ability to connect when seeing a physical piece or a form of expression will be found like a fish in water.

ARTE y LITERATURA san miguel Encuentro

Thus, for the second time, the Great Exhibition of Art and Culture will take place in the imposing, both in size and artistic proposal, Soma District a site where its industrial architecture will be the ideal setting to emphasize the different artistic pieces exhibited there as well as literary pieces of great value in this fusion between gallery and bookstore.

For three consecutive days (from June 9-11) this event will take place free of charge courtesy of the promoters of art and literature Yellow 78 Gallery in conjunction with Loreto Bookstore that will seek to reflect the artistic sensitivity of the beautiful city of Saint Michael and will strengthen existing links between collector and artist as well as give rise to exciting new multidisciplinary collaborations.

Highlights of the calendar include:

June 9th – Pre-opening of “A Starry Night in San Miguel” with art and emotions workshop, music and opera afternoon. 17-21:30 hrs.

June 10th – Opening with the presentation of 72 international visual artists, panels of writers, musicians and an award ceremony for the artists. 10- 21:00 hrs.

June 11th – Conference “Intellectual Property as a Driver of Art”. 11 – 12:30 hrs.

Likewise, we strongly suggest revisiting the work of these notable guests such as the animal painting of Isabel Ruiz de Velasco, the musical literature of the orchestra conductor Rafael Saula Sanango, the object art of the ceramist Verónica Enns, the hyperrealism of Hugo Laurencena...

Interrupting the paragraph so that such outstanding artists do not get lost among the letters…

Gabriel Domínguez continues the musical legacy of his great-grandfather Alberto Dominguez on the piano, Leonardo Villegas on the violins as well as Alejandro Colín, both graduates of Fine Arts; Guillermo Islas and Nallely Moreno, founders of Galería Amarillo 78; and the writer and journalist Marcela Rodríguez Loreto.

11 musicians and visual artists, 33 international book writers, 72 visual artists make up this art sanctuary that could easily be the new home of the muses of each of the artistic disciplines in San Miguel de Allende.

We look forward to seeing you!
