The CONCEPT STORE that gives the first opportunity to emerging talent

Imagine that you are a clothing designer from San Miguel with enormous talent but that you have just finished your studies at the university and you still do not participate in shows of the magnitude of Fashion Week despite the fact that your proposal is fresh and innovative.

Now, as a designer, you want to have a physical point of sale where people can see your clothes in person and find the right size for them. Well, the first thing you would do would be to look for an established space where you could have your point of sale, but when you go from showroom to showroom you discover a glass ceiling that you had not been able to glimpse: These types of spaces only tend to give exposure to international brands or those that have been established for many years. What is left to do?

La CONCEPT STORE que da la primera oportunidad al talento emergente

For that kind of crossroads, Bougainvillea rose opens its doors for the first time in San Miguel de Allende under the firm guidance of Aris Torres and Alan Contreras. The intention of both is to create a space that specializes in promoting local talent in San Miguel through a physical point of sale and events that they will generate monthly.

During these events, which will be part of the city's artistic guide, the concept store will be filled with paintings and pictorial works by multiple artists, as well as exhibiting other jewelry, textile, and perfume brands, as well as a wide range of other products that it sells in order to generate cross-selling. In other words, art lovers can discover and purchase jewelry products, and fashion lovers can purchase paintings in a win-win situation.

After an exhaustive market study, Aris discovered that the products on sale in San Miguel tend to be quite repetitive: Ponchos with “woke” patterns, boots and wide-brimmed hats that give that “magic town” look that seems to enchant visitors so much but bore them after a while.

So, together with Alan's idea, they decided to create the character of Rosa Bugambilia and adapt her personality to their concept store. Rosa Bugambilia is a Mexican woman who loves local brands and is not afraid to innovate when it comes to looks or to play with color. She is a versatile, fresh and fun woman whose taste for art and painting is only equaled by her style of dress.

Rosa Bugambilia is the spirit of Aris after seeing how her mother was dedicated to selling gold when she came up with the idea of starting to design jewelry always respecting the use of natural resources by not overexploiting what Mother Nature offers us and combining it with other recyclable materials and textures thus generating conscious jewelry.

Rosa Bugambilia is that tourist who comes to find the authentic Mexican spirit.

Rosa Bugambilia is a woman who wants to experiment with her look, supporting local products and good taste.

Rosa Bugambilia is you and me. Rosa Bugambilia is Local and you can find her in Hidalgo #35
