The life of a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ seeks to emulate the examples that he preached with his teachings from side to side and it is for this important reason that priests cannot remain fixed for too long in one place.
However, the arrival of an unknown father who at first felt like a “hen in a strange yard,” over the years and his teachings would earn him the love and respect of the parishioners of San Miguel de Allende in the Parish of San Antonio de Padua for a decade.

But these 10 years resulted in euphoric activity inspired by the divinity of the father of all where during the difficult period of pandemic in which the physical and spiritual health of the people was affected, he opted instead of confinement, to take the Blessed Sacrament from the altar and the Virgin and take them on an itinerant tour of many places in the surroundings, thus awakening the hope of the faithful and renewing their endless faith with such a joyful sight and the praying of the rosary.
Faith should not remain locked up in a sanctuary, but rather be part of people's daily lives to show that God in his omnipotence is here and is present at all times.

After such acts, Father Toño confirmed that the people of San Miguel have a great hunger and thirst for the presence of God in their lives and he manifested this in different ways by showing his great support for the community.
We will always remember all the innovative and joyful initiatives of our dear Father Toño, who broke the solemnity that is not so in keeping with a fun but devout city like San Miguel.

Without a doubt Celaya will be very fortunate to have Father Toño as its new parish priest who, without a doubt, will continue his crusade for faith in people's lives in a fresh and original way as he did in the parade of The Crazy Ones, vintage cars, stars and countless activities that represent the community of St. Anthony Parish.
His legacy, which we will not forget, was and will be to follow Jesus on his path of humility and to serve his other brothers with the gratitude and blessing of each one of the people of San Miguel who felt spiritually guided by such an enlightened person.
Thank you for everything, Father Toño!
