When a healthy voice resonates and its echo is expressed through various channels, such as the powerful work of Kate Van Doren<\/a> and his project The Healing Words Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the artist, the power of words has an immense reverberation and is capable of modifying our brains, bodies, hearts and souls, so she has decided to focus on the positive aspect of words in the healing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kate, we all have a personal mantra that we tend to recite to ourselves, sometimes unconsciously, to get through the toughest moments in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is her mission to accompany the women in her portraits on a journey of exploration and discovery until they themselves arrive at that personal mantra of healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through affective communication, Kate is able to glimpse other types of visual and physical elements that have been present throughout the women's healing processes and capture them in her work, whether it be a family portrait or memories of that beloved place from a trip to which one can never return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Art Therapist, with over 25 years of experience, never stops learning from wonderful women and never stops helping those who need a little artistic guidance on this journey called life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was thanks to his stay in San Miguel<\/a> Kate returned to her art along with therapy because it was in the context of the "A Day Without Women" protest that all the success that would follow began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it is thanks to this empathetic painting accompaniment that the artist is about to hold an exhibition at the Quer\u00e9taro Art Museum starting on March 6th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But beyond an exhibition where you can attend and purchase portraits of faceless models, here Kate delved into the idea that her subjects should be remembered through their faces, their souls, and their stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
