This week Kaia, the companion of a strong, independent, and deeply loving woman for 15 years, passed away. To many, she might seem like "just a pet," but those who have loved like this know the truth: dogs don't take up space in the house, they take up space in the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a city like ours\u2014where many are experiencing new phases of life, where there are single homes, long silences, and personal rebuilding\u2014they become roots, routine, companionship, and an emotional home. They don't fill voids; they create presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
