If kitchen tables could talk, what would they tell us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little bit about this premise is that Iliana pays tribute to the object that has witnessed so many anecdotes and through which so many cooking recipes have passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The format? As a Podcast<\/a> Iliana invites her guests to the warmth of her kitchen and the honesty of her home with the occasional bark from her dog Agatha, which rather than interrupting, accentuates the true place from where this auditory transmission is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the idea of self-promoting her specialty as a food coach, as well as her interesting guests, Iliana invites them time and time again to share her love for the rich stories of a good recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, more than just ingredients, Iliana's recipe for creating authentic stories is emotional listening, where she can modulate her emotions with her tone of voice to make her guests feel more comfortable, whether they're older adults or even children, in order to help them find their truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This truth and these stories, unlike other podcasts, are unedited in any way and are broadcast as recorded, with all the artistry that comes with a well-directed improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another advantage for Iliana of using the audio format is that it allows us to rest from the oversaturated contemporary view where our gaze constantly scrolls for hours on end over a sterile, cold screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's also stimulating to the imagination, as we often do when listening to a radio program and imagining the hosts, whose voices rarely match how we imagined them. Even on several occasions, with the simple object of Iliana's kitchen table, people begin to imagine it as a leafy, rough, and knotty table, when in reality it possesses a much more symmetrical simplicity than previously thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from San Miguel, the host is excited to seek out all kinds of profiles for her broadcast and knows that this community specifically is a place where all kinds of authenticity are allowed, so unique voices and perspectives abound and consequently we predict a great deal of encouragement for her project.
