We asked 7 places that we consider friends of Local Guide<\/a> and that stand out for their high quality standards behind their bars that joined our initiative to compile patriotic cocktails in honor of Independence Month and these were the results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. \u00abNOGADA\u00bb BY BOVINE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"C\u00d3CTELES<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unique inventiveness and creativity of the bar Bovine<\/a><\/strong> The result was \u201cNogada,\u201d a cocktail that, as its name suggests, is reminiscent of the tricolor chiles en nogada (chiles in nogada) created long ago by some original nuns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reinterpretation of the emblematic Mexican dish emphasizes the national spirit with ingredients such as Casa Dragones Blanco tequila and of course the multifaceted chile used in its green poblano chile liqueur format. For the white color they used lemon foam and walnut, and for the red of our Mexican blood they used pomegranate in syrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. \u00abSMOKED\u00bb BY CUDDLE<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the beloved mezcal distillate and Mayahuel's maternal love for giving us a pampering or hugs to the soul, "Ahumadita" sees its birth with the conjunction of pineapple juice, rosemary and worm salt, ancho chili liqueur and a good slice of pineapple.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is thanks to the contrasts of its sweet and smoky bodies that this drink has become the flagship drink of the ever-loved Cuddle<\/a><\/strong> whose mixologist gives it a spicy touch from the depths of Pachamama and uses the element of smoke with rosemary charcoal to symbolize the bowels of the earth. And of course! the red worm to finish wrapping up such a delicious drink.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. \u00abXOCONOSTLE SCRAPING\u00bb BY HORTUS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Others who stood out for their inventiveness were the friends of Hortus<\/a><\/strong> who left us speechless with their \u201cRaspado de Xoconostle\u201d using the desert plant so representative of our lands in addition to the local Tequila from Casa Dragones, white Vermouth with the xoconostle seed and this same one in its candied and syrup format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His vision of rescuing the part of a raspado and bringing it to the table of a restaurant directly from the garden to the table, thus creating this original drink that could easily represent San Miguel abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. \u00abNOGADA\u00bb BY NUMU<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numu<\/strong> He gave us a gift in the form of an orange-hued drink with his \u201cNogada\u201d cocktail, which is made with a smooth cream of tequila with homemade peanuts, pomegranate liqueur, ancho chili concoction and a fresh pomegranate garnish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unnamed champion seemed sweet to us when we tasted it but with that spicy touch that gives so much flavor to our lands and puts them on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. \u00abIKAL GREEN LOVE\u00bb BY ARK HOUSE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mixologist of Ark House<\/a>,<\/strong> Aldair Lugo got to work and created this beauty inspired by the Pre-Hispanic civilizations who used fruits of the earth as healers to cure any type of discomfort or sorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ikal Green Love Cocktail is special for them as it was the first cocktail on the menu and has as ingredients the base of mezcal cupreata with green Chartreuse, holy leaf cordial and eucalyptus as well as lime bitters from the region, resulting in a breath of fresh air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. \u201cMYSTICAL NECTAR\u201d BY ROOFTOP FATIMA 7<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rooftop Fatima 7<\/strong> He was inspired by ancient mythology and dedicated his cocktail to the God of Fire Xiuhtecuhtli, who with his flames destroyed the darkness, illuminating it with all the passion of the embers of the fire, giving rise to sensory hedonism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMystic Nectar\u201d was created to excite the senses and proof of this are its ingredients such as grapefruit liqueur, apricot liqueur and white tequila, all combined in a concoction that awakens the most hidden passions and makes us want to give the Scream with great fury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. \u201cTHE SANMIGUELITO\u201d BY THE SANMIGUELADA<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jewel in the mixology crown of The San Miguelada inside the Santuario Hotel<\/strong> <\/a>It is called \u201cEL SANMIGUELITO\u201d and is not shy at all when it comes to representing the euphoric spirit of Mexican pulquer\u00edas combined with a touch of modernity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its ingredients, such as pulque and artisanal mezcal, have been proven to lift the spirits of the national holidays sip after sip, they didn't stop there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of red fruits and spices paid tribute to our lands and the touch of smoked rosemary was what ended up creating the most fun drink on our list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
