It was 100 years ago when fervent devotees of the Immaculate Conception from different walks of life came together to celebrate it, which would mark a new tradition that would continue to grow year after year in honor of San Miguel<\/a> until it became the fireworks festival for which it is so well known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is this centurion who made sure that such an occasion did not go unnoticed and is celebrated to this day with a delightful exhibition in Fine arts <\/a>(El Nigromante Cultural Center) where the diverse curation of its elements, as well as exhibitions, will take you back to its origins and its most distinguished moments until the present day, which have already become synonymous with the Alborada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibitions titled \u201cCer\u00e1micas Vivas\u201d, \u201cMojigangueros\u201d, \u201cHuellas Danzantes\u201d, and \u201cFrente a mis ojos\u201d focus on some of the aspects of our beloved tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as you enter Bellas Artes you can find beneath each of its arches, an astral decoration of Stars that emulate celestial bodies such as the sun and the moon or religious or cultural figures such as the Virgin or an Indigenous Woman with her colorful attire. Movingly, Don Emigdio Ledesma declared in his talk at the exhibition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI carried my first star at La Alborada when I was 10 years old, today I am 86 years old and I have not lost faith or enthusiasm\u201d\u2026 he testifies to the fact that no matter how many times La Alborada is repeated, it never ceases to cause the same amazement as the first time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in Room 1 that you will see the pyrotechnic elements, the enormous Mojigangas and an audiovisual projection of the chronology and tradition since the 1990s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the exhibition \u201cCer\u00e1micas Vivas\u201d has pieces in which the wonders of this craft are reflected and can be expressed in creations such as an incredible piece in the shape of corn that honors the sacred corn of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beautiful tutus decorated with golden flowers that recall the golden hues of the San Miguel sunrise can be seen as part of the dance exhibition that takes place there and are a poem to the corporeal strokes that the dancers put into the interpretation of each musical piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
