Such unbridledness is put to use in traditions in the unbridled celebration of Parade of Fools<\/a> In this carnival of joy and extravagant attitudes, the mission of paying tribute to San Pascual Bail\u00f3n, patron saint of dance and agriculture, is fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is considered one of the most anticipated events of San Miguel due to its picturesque appearance. Hundreds of citizens are divided into groups of teams, each of which, led by its captain, competes to have the most striking and original costume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting point is where this tradition began the first time, none other than in the Parish of San Antonio where the chaotic procession makes a journey through multiple streets in the center of San Miguel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funny costumes, bizarre masks, mythological figures and pop stars are some of the exotic characters that can be seen marching and if you are lucky, they will be the same ones who will throw you delicious traditional sweets as a symbol of the importance of sharing with generosity for our people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
