Here we are with the 15th issue of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/en\/local-soundtrack-14-yalex-una-conexion-musical\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"17615\">Local Soundtrack<\/a><\/strong>, a space that connects you with the music scene of<strong> San Miguel de Allende<\/strong>Month after month we show you the faces of the bands, musicians, soloists and duos that make the streets of this beautiful World Heritage city sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion we present to you <strong>Rodrigo Galindo<\/strong>, a music lover, passionate about experimenting with sounds, rhythms, visual effects and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1708\" height=\"2560\" src=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Rodrigo Local soundtrack\" class=\"wp-image-19694\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-scaled.jpg 1708w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-768x1151.jpg 768w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-1025x1536.jpg 1025w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/EZK_4768-1367x2048.jpg 1367w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1708px) 100vw, 1708px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><sup>Photo by Erik Zavala<\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During a pleasant conversation Rodrigo told us about his new project called <strong>\u201cMixo\u201d<\/strong> which emerged after the pandemic, where he has experimented with different musical genres and created 9 songs inspired by dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cMy project is not focused on a musical genre, sometimes I grab a guitar and do something acoustic, sometimes I grab the electric guitar and do rock, I take the synthesizer and do electronic things\u2026 in the end the results are wonderful\u201d he explained.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodrigo has grown up knowing several instruments and has a long career with different musical projects, mostly focused on rock. His entire career has involved him in a journey through all musical genres. There is so much music in the world that it is almost impossible to do something new. I like everything\u2026 the Doors, Creedence, the Beatles\u2026 a lot of psychedelic rock from that era. I also like jazz and classical music.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also shared that her project is therapeutic, there are songs that are a catharsis and there may be people who don&#039;t like it as much, but also people who connect with this mix of emotions, sounds and nuances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His recent songs are instrumental and represent the <strong>lucid dreams<\/strong> (dreams in which you are aware that you are dreaming and can control what happens). Rodrigo reveals that these are subjects that he is passionate about, even though most of his influences are not musical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cFor example, I see clouds, plants, people, my cats, and I get ideas from there. Artists are like an antenna\u2026 things are there, but it is important to be open and receptive to create ideas. For this track, he invited other musicians to collaborate and each one contributed their essence, with <strong>Pedro Galindo<\/strong> in the Battery, <strong>Juan Carlos Sardaneta<\/strong> on the Electric Bass, <strong>Federico Sanchez<\/strong> with electric guitars and <strong>Augustin Ayala<\/strong> on keyboards and synthesizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to listen to the music of <strong>Rodrigo Galindo<\/strong> Follow him on all his social networks, he is even a DJ and makes some incredible mixes on the<strong> \u201cSenderos\u201d beach<\/strong> every Friday and Saturday.
