One of the most important holidays for the Catholic faith has arrived and after having had the sacred Palm Sunday in which we commemorate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem by blessing palm branches with holy water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceeding to Lent celebrated in a peculiar way in San Miguel<\/a> Prior to Holy Thursday, these are some of the unmissable sacred rites in which we honor such a sacred event by honoring the man who died for the forgiveness of our sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Temple of the Oratory<\/strong> of Saint Philip Neri <\/strong>There will be busy days with multiple mass celebrations where we will accompany the Passion of Christ day by day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Monday<\/strong>
7:30 pm Sermon of the \u201cArrest\u201d and procession with the Divine Prisoner <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Tuesday<\/strong>
9:30 am and 12:00 pm Passion Mass 
6 pm Prayer of the Apostle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Wednesday<\/strong>
9 am, 12 and 6:30 pm Passion Mass
5 pm Stations of the Cross

As for the venerated images of the Lord of the Column, Our Lady of Sorrows and the Apostle Saint John, they have arrived from the Palm Sunday<\/strong><\/a> In the Temple of San Juan de Dios on Holy Wednesday, the Rosary will be prayed and an ancient procession will take place with the venerated images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday there will be a celebration of the Eucharist and the washing of the apostles. On Friday there will be a prayer of the Stations of the Cross and again a procession for the vigil and blessing of the new fire on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another option for a beautiful procession where the devotees will be moved by that faith that moves mountains will be on Good Friday at noon in front of the Santa Escuela de Cristo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the main procession is undoubtedly the one that will take place on Good Friday, known legendary as The Holy Burial<\/a><\/strong> where parishioners agreed to play famous biblical characters such as the fierce warriors of the Roman army wearing their resplendent war helmets as well as their impenetrable breastplates and sharp spears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image of Jesus will be carried by devout mourners wearing strict black mourning clothes and the image of Our Lady of Solitude will be carried by ladies as well as the rest of the images carried by the rest of the procession while singing the divine hymns of Christus Factus and the Divine Word. Without a doubt, a solemn act of faith that unites us as a Catholic and apostolic Mexican people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving the solemnity of the Church a little and entering more into the joking spirit of the Mexican, the Burning of Judas<\/a><\/strong> It will take place on Easter Sunday (April 9) where the life-size dolls will be filled with gunpowder and set to explode amid great euphoria and fun celebration in Jard\u00edn Allende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, on Tuesday, April 11, an important Eucharist will be celebrated in honor of the 200th anniversary of the first visit of the miraculous Lord of the Column, officiated by His Excellency Bishop Don V\u00edctor Alejandro Aguilar Ledesma at noon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
