What happens when two of the most representative states of Mexico come together? Obviously something magnificent and full of art and fun, as it could not have been otherwise with the event \u201cOaxaca lives in San Miguel de Allende\u201d where the famous land of mezcal invited prominent figures from the region to put their beloved state on the map. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenting Oaxaca in San Miguel de Allende represents a great pride for the exhibitors at the event. Hotel La Concepcion<\/a> Well, they know that the people here have a reputation for being art lovers and after 4 years of being cultural disseminators of the beautiful state, our city could not be left without knowing all these forms of artistic expression. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Textile producers, musicians, brewers, poets, chefs, ancestral mezcaleros and indigenous art swarmed in this pleasant presentation where we could not help but marvel at its vast cultural wealth and the many collaborations that can arise from it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit of @mario.come.oaxaca was especially pleasant given his enormous charisma that has earned him fame on social media, in addition to recommending delicious Oaxacan places to eat, paying special attention to curating places that do not have a thousand Michelin stars but that have the best seasonings as well as being local favorites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another product that caught the attention was the \u201cLa Chicana\u201d beer, named after the word used to name Mexican people who come and go from the United States and who somehow fuse the two cultures. For this alcoholic beverage, a hybrid is created between the European Netherlands where the beer comes from and Oaxacan mezcal, giving us a new alcoholic creation that surprised everyone with its flavor notes as well as granting the magic of mezcal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the area of poetry, the d\u00e9cimas consisting of 10 verses recited by the poet Evelin de Loma Bonita caused a great effect on the public with her improvisations inspired by love, life and her misfortunes, mixing the art of drinking mezcal with kisses and the poetics that can arise from this favorite stimulus of the pre-Hispanic gods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Miguel certainly has a lot to learn from the culture of Oaxaca and we were stimulated by its sublime creative spirit and the pride it has in its roots. We couldn't be happier to be able to create art together and also show them the vast culture and effervescent cultural movement that is breathed day by day in our city, which was declared the best small city in the world.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
