And it is in a kind of tribute to this beautiful feminist essay that the Camila bookstore, a Book Boutique,<\/a> It arises as a space in San Miguel de Allende where anyone who enjoys literary stimulation can come and acquire beautiful books with beautiful illustrations such as \u201cDe Natura Florum\u201d by Clarice Lispector or \u201cPussypedia\u201d by Zoe Mendelson illustrated with the indistinguishable strokes of Mar\u00eda Conejo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded by the literary passion of Camila Sanchez<\/a>The editorial curation that can be found there awakens various emotions that the selected titles seek to emphasize, such as admiration, confidence, despair, empowerment and hope.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Female empowerment can be absorbed from Woolfe's title in which the author challenges young women to become the Shakespeares of their generation, to lead armies and compose symphonies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confidence is one of the tips for unleashing creativity in Julia Cameron's book "The Artist's Way" where, after several introspection exercises, she invites us to seek reflection and inspiration for creative work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We find the discouraging desperation in the bloody narrative of Cristina Rivera Garza with her \u201cEl invencible verano de Liliana\u201d where she tells us all the time that had to pass for the feminicide of her sister that occurred in the 90's to reach justice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admiration and its analysis are distilled in \u201cThe Art of Enduring\u201d and the tour that Hugo Hiriart takes through excellent works that went down in history and transcended, as well as works of similar magnitude that simply did not pass from generation to generation and the determining factor of this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, like Pandora in Greek mythology, it is worth ending on a positive note with the hope that is represented in a beautiful selection of children's literature that seeks to free future generations of children from the yoke of adult-centred expectations and give them tools to have the confidence to approach being themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And after this interesting literary journey, we would like to challenge all those readers, emulating Virginia, to visit the beautiful bookstore located at Hern\u00e1ndez Mac\u00edas #48 just before reaching the Marsala, Cocina con Acentos restaurant and embark on discovering new titles as well as classics reinterpreted in sublime illustrated editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
