It was a lot of fun and one of the alternative festivals to Burning Man, held year after year in Black Rock City. Among the volunteers of the festival were Fer Tovar and Tina Bueche, who immediately had great working chemistry and perceived an interesting factor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"908\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1-908x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12358\" srcset=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1-908x1024.jpg 908w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1-266x300.jpg 266w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1-768x866.jpg 768w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1-600x677.jpg 600w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-1.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 908px) 100vw, 908px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It turns out that a few years ago, the festival proposed some activities for children but since they were not its main audience, the focus was not on them and the dynamics lacked organization, so the two friends decided to create a Day of the Dead festival that was focused directly on the child audience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is how the idea of creating the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/en\/evento\/festival-de-vivos-y-muertos\/\" data-type=\"tribe_events\" data-id=\"11593\">Festival of the Living and the Dead<\/a>\u00bb which only a few years ago became a reality and was a huge success. One of the first achievements of the event was that they were the first to bring VR or Virtual Reality to San Miguel de Allende; technology that would later be adopted by other events such as GIFF.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1218\" src=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4-908x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4-908x1024.jpg 908w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4-266x300.jpg 266w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4-768x866.jpg 768w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4-600x677.jpg 600w, https:\/\/localguide.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Such technology created a sensation and a stir among the children attending, as did the use of the digital pen that allowed them to capture their fantasies on a more realistic level. This traveling mural will be displayed in an exhibition in February inside La Casona.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The venue for the second consecutive year will be held in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ccnigromante\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ccnigromante\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fine Arts, The Necromancer<\/a> which is always an open place for art and culture for all ages.
