Like many others, Ron Nicodemus fell in love with the vibrant spirit of our city and after careful deliberation and great moments, he decided to put his affairs in order and move here more than 5 years ago.

The Marketing and Communication expert, with a background in managing giant television networks like CBS and PBS, as well as helping to found the Disney Institute, happily settled down to live the good life, but it didn't take long for him to find a new challenge.
It turns out that the ever-observant creative noticed how his friends bitterly complained about missing out on numerous events because they didn't find out about them until after they were over. We all know that frustrating feeling of missing your favorite artist's concert because you didn't know about it beforehand, and that's when Ron started looking for a solution.

It took him more than a year to develop the concept of San Miguel LiveAnd in finding a web developer who matched their wishes, because in addition to being a website where performers and venues can advertise their events, it is optimized with multiple tools such as Google Maps as well as links to ticket sales and links to the artists' sites.
What began as a small experiment now boasts an average of 155 registered events per week, 213 artists in its ranks, and 81 registered venues with an average of 38,000 visits per month.
Even on the streets, it's common for Ron to hear the phrase "San Miguel Live! saved our lives," and what may seem like an exaggeration is not when you consider that many people plan their lives and trips around cultural and artistic activities.

Now with the merger with Local GuideRon hopes to exponentially increase that exposure thanks to the extraordinary spirit and creative force of our visionary founder Myrna Camacho, as she never considered us competition but rather two projects that can mutually benefit and ensure that the good life in San Miguel continues and thrives.
