The new boutique hotel that exalts the traditions of San Miguel CONCEPCIÓN HOTEL has it all.

Watching the evolution of a Work In Progress or a well-done process and rapidly becoming the boutique hotel that takes care of preserving the traditions of San Miguel by merging them with modern aspects is the most satisfying thing.

CONCEPCIÓN HOTEL hotel boutique San Miguel

By this we mean that the beautiful hotel that opened in September is evolving and improving day by day in each of its details and has plans to be operating at 100% of its capacity by the Day of the Dead.

Their attention to detail is such that they have already prepared a party for the night of October 28th dinner In honor of this very Mexican tradition, Chef Gerardo Quezada was inspired by the journey that a soul must make through Mictlán or the place of the dead, where one goes through a series of stages in order to leave behind the frugal and rise to the divine, which we are sure will be fascinating to reinterpret in a gastronomic concept.

Stay in Conception hotel or simply spending a moment within their facilities is equivalent to a highly satisfactory experience and if you are lucky enough to have a 4-legged companion, whether furry or with feathers or scales, you will have no problem entering with your non-human animal and being treated as they deserve.

And we speak from the experience of Mango, The Local Pug who was fortunate enough to be invited and treated like the canine royalty that he is in exchange for some good selfies touring its pleasant facilities and cooling off near the pool area without forgetting the peaceful view that we were able to contemplate from its rooftop of the Temple of San Francisco, Parish, and on the Mesones side the entire civic plaza with the famous Churches of the Oratory and the Temple of Our Lady of Health.

Our surprise was even greater when Mango glimpsed some stylized and “monstrous” figures that turned out to be large-scale alebrijes designed by the artist Hermes Arroyo, better known for being the giver of life to the most emblematic mojigangas of San Miguel de Allende. Without a doubt, a great attention to detail and the drive of the traditional/local artist of our city that, thanks to places like this, has once again been declared the Best Small City in the World 2022 by readers of Condé Nast Traveling.
