With this compilation of information, our friend Brenda Araiza inaugurates this new section where we will tell some of these stories that continue to resonate with our community.

We will start with the story of El Callejón de Los Chiquitos located just two blocks from El Main Garden and where they say that after midnight, unusual beings about 15 centimeters in size, similar to mischievous elves, appear to play tricks on anyone who passes by unaware of their legend.

Whether it's tying shoelaces to make walkers fall, light laughter that raises the hair on the back of your neck, or simply imitating threatening animal sounds, these mischievous little creatures are all part of their repertoire.

It is said that local residents tell of how they are frightened after returning home late at night and hearing the barking of ferocious dogs that want to attack them. They run terrified back to their houses and when they try to open their locks, they turn around to discover that there is no dog there and that the barking is replaced by thunderous children's laughter.

At the same preschool where Brenda studied in that alley, the principal warned her young students not to pay attention to these beings who also levitated and that if they were invited to play with them, they should decline.

But the children ignored them and climbed a tree to play with them, only to end up crying later.

These mischievous little elves originated many years ago when a famous midwife lived and worked there. It is said that they are the souls of babies who could not be born and therefore were not baptized, and who are there doing their thing.

It's also well-known how neighbors are constantly losing their possessions, or how minor accidents happen in their homes, like objects falling out of nowhere. To appease these rascals, they have resorted to leaving them candy and toys to finally calm them down.
