The dream of Comprando Por México begins with the desire of a girl, daughter and granddaughter of Mexicans from Jalisco, Michoacán and later from Mexico City; who feels the need to exalt Mexican crafts, textiles, financially support artisans and preserve the trades and traditions of her country, which she was taught to love since she was a child.

“My maternal grandfather (the one from Jalisco, charro, strong and very hard-working) told us, first you have to travel around Mexico, get to know it and admire its wonders and then travel around the world, otherwise you will be surprised without knowing what you have… and that is what my parents did and that is how this dream began to materialize and take shape, because while I was traveling I dreamed of everything that one day I was going to buy to decorate a Hacienda hotel where each room would be conceptualized by states of the Mexican Republic” – he tells us. The response is very positive and they believe it is because those who know them know that they work on the scheme of fair trade, that the treatment of artisans is and will always be fair, that they look out for their well-being and support them; as in these moments where they have to work harder due to the difficult situation during the pandemic and continue to work hand in hand with them since they are the only point of sale they have.

The brand took a turn and became a collective where they collaborate with artisans, designers and artists from all over the country, sharing the same values, because they believe that together, they are stronger and because from an online platform they can reach the entire world.
