Even if you can't change the entire world, if you affect the part of the world you're in and generate not only good for the community but also experiences that resonate over time, you're a person worth mentioning.

This same work is what Leticia Loza Márquez, also known as Lekuin, has been playing a firm role for decades now in Saint Michael Through various projects that, although at first glance they may seem different, upon closer analysis we can see the cohesion that exists between them: uniting our community through talent and different forms of expression.

LEKUIN san miguel make it happen

It was a few years ago that Lekuin managed to train and establish herself as a clothing designer in Los Angeles, and it was thanks to that know-how about the industry and how it works as a business that she was able to return to San Miguel to establish her own brand.

It's curious, both for her and the observer, that it's necessary for many people to stand out abroad and make a name for themselves, a requirement to be able to excel in the country, but it's simply the way things work in Mexico or, as simple basic psychology, the human tendency to yearn for things that are far away.

As a designer for Lekuin, there are no rules, and it doesn't matter if it's a piece from your closet that you no longer used that she reinvents into something completely new that you'll use every day or a piece inspired by her love of Mexican culture, she will be able to create something that inspires all of her clients.

A clear example of this is her “Charro Pants,” typically men's pants, since the charro version for women is a long skirt, adapted to the woman's body, which never ceases to cause a sensation due to its patterns and statement that somehow seems to indicate that women wear what they like to wear, regardless of who is predetermined by history to wear the clothing.

Following her drive as a designer, Lekuin wanted to continue conveying what she loved through different means, and it was with event production and experience design that her creative drive found the right focus, always offering ways to authentically connect at her events.

For the creative, it's not enough to create pretentious or superfluous things; she seeks to connect with attendees through simplicity and multisensory experiences that invite reflection and anything but indifference.

A clear example of this is when they came up with the idea of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the beloved band Pila Seca, whose concert series has been a total success and received euphoria from the audience in unusual ways, generating community, so they will soon be performing in a special concert in Querétaro as well as the upcoming release of their most recent album.

And that's not all about the impressive woman, as rumors are circulating that her Dear Mexico Events  which is the name of his event production company, is about to evolve into what seems to be the new sensation of San Miguel, but we can't reveal too much about it yet.

Stay tuned for what Lekuin and his creative spirit will bring us next!
