We lit the torch tonight and went out with the angry mob… no, we were just joking what we did do last night was light the torch with the spirit  Saint Michael will ignite your patriotic spirit and we will parade to celebrate our greatest local hero.

Of course, it is about Generalissimo Ignacio Allende y Unzaga, since we will celebrate his 256th birthday with a pyromaniac show in which the flames symbolized the fervent admiration we feel for such a great figure, as well as the Nationalist Spirit that we all have in San Miguel and the great pride that our conduct and our country give us.

Leaving at 7 pm from the Mirador de Salida Real to Querétaro, the night tour was step by step until reaching its final destination at the Allende House Museum where the leader resided and whose Baroque façade with Neoclassical elements welcomed us.

Already this morning, our exaltation is not over and so it will be carried out Civic Military Parade in the Zeferino Gutiérrez Municipal Park along Calzada de la Aurora, Hidalgo, Insurgentes, Pepe Llanos, Main Square and Portal Allende.

The beautiful parade, in which children dressed as charros and girls in outfits carrying the flag participate, is a symbol of identity of our lands and it is usually very endearing to see young people striving to march perfectly coordinated as an escort to the beat of the drum despite the obstacles along the way.

There are hundreds, even thousands of people who wait with excitement to see the marchers and who only want to remember and pay tribute to the memory of the most exalted of heroes. 

It should be noted that the parade owes its success in large part to the efforts of parents and students to have excellent coordination and provide visual elements that make the spectator proud.

Finally, the Parade closes with the Allende cavalcade, where a lucky performer (on one occasion it was the actor Aaron Diaz who played him) gallops through the streets of San Miguel with the flag held high, thus emulating the fierce spirit of our leader and rekindling in the hearts of all the love for Mexico.
